so nothing too new or interesting... my adventure buddy is out of town for a few weeks and I have been devoting myself to finding a job (lots of applications) and today I started looking for a place to live.
I need to be out of my current place by July 31st... YEP NEXT WEEK!
I have been putting off looking for a place to live, because I wasn't sure if I was going to stick around the Virginia Beach area. I don't have a job and that means I was fearful that I wouldn't be able to make rent.. so I the plan was to move back to Richmond and live in the empty house that my parents are selling.. until the house sold- or until I found a job. BUT my parents made a big leap of faith yesterday and told me that they would help me out with rent until I got a job. I have been looking for a job for over three months... I have had a job- then got let go before the job even started, told that I was the top contender for a job but then was told I wasn't being considered because of a serious misunderstanding, I then got another job only to have that job end after a short time because the lady that originally had the job decided that her new job in the company wasn't what she wanted. ...I have since been on interviews for jobs that were already filled and interviews for jobs that told me they would let me know in three weeks. but I am still putting in applications. What stresses me out are the jobs that you apply for online that tell you not to call. I have applied for a couple (2)- jobs with the city of va beach and 2 applications with a bank online... there is no way to even know if my application is being considered. the website just says that they'll contact me if they want me to interview... I just know if I met them that they would give me a chance. :)
but anyway- so now I am looking for a place to live.
Even the options are stressful- what to do Lord? live with a group? live in a house with several girls? live with one other person? live with a random other person off a housing list from the school? hmmm
